Universal music scraper: no metadata for one album

Hi,
I'm using the Universal music scraper addon with my music library and it scrapes as expect, except for a single release: http://musicbrainz.org/release/f2fe0d5b-...d33a8f5e58

The folder in which the album resides is \\OSMC\Elements\Musica\Pink Floyd - 1972-09-22 Bowl de Luna Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles, CA, USA.
Inside the folder there are two flac tagged named as follows:
Pink Floyd - 1972-09-22 Bowl de Luna Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles, CA, USA (CD1).flac
Pink Floyd - 1972-09-22 Bowl de Luna Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles, CA, USA (CD2).flac

Each file is properly tagged (see [Image: d0bfc0487373654.jpg]) but the scraper can't find it.

Debug snippet (obtained after removing -via remote- the "(CD1)" part in the Release name):

I tried to rename the filename / tags of "Pink Floyd - 1972-09-22 Bowl de Luna Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles, CA, USA (CD1).flac" file removing "(CD1)" but the file isn't scraped.

What is getting wrong?

NFO sorttitle not cancelling out TheMovieDB's sort

I apologize if I have this in the wrong forum, but I'm trying to sort my collection of Marvel movies by release date, instead of [year] and [alphabet], and it doesn't seem to be working. How, exactly, do I set sorttitles to get them into the order I want? I was trying to do it by phase (e.g. "Phase 01 01" for Iron Man and up through 06 for The Avengers, "Phase 02 01" for Iron Man 3, etc), but do I have to simplify it down even more to get it to work? Even when I refresh and tell Kodi to only use local data, I'm still seeing movies in the wrong order for what I want. Do I have to knock it down more to just something like "Marvel 1, 2, 3"?

TVDb scraper (or just Kodi) has completely lost its mind.

Wish I had a better title, but it's difficult to come up with something descriptive when the results are so wildly inconsistent. So straight into the background then:

My TV shows are set up in a folder structure like this:

Show Name\Season #\# - Episode Name.avi

I've been using this structure without need for an advancedsettings.xml file since installing XBMC on the Xbox back in 2006, it's worked flawlessly across several different Xboxes and half a dozen computers since then. I recently built a new computer and for some reason this time around, all hell has broken loose when setting up Kodi. Music and movies still work fine, but TV shows are producing just straight-up weird results.

To start with, probably 80% of my shows don't get added at all. Of the ones that do, only a few episodes show up, and they all show up as the wrong episode. Just a few examples from a SINGLE scan:

-Archer (2009): I currently have seasons 6 and 7. Only 6 episodes from season 7 added, and they showed up as 3 copies each of S01E01 and S01E02
-South Park: 1 episode out of the entire run of south park showed up. An episode from season 15 showed up as S02E01.
-Attack on Titan: It actually added 24 of 25 episodes here. Unfortunately they were added as multiple copies of the first 9 episodes. 5 of ep 1, 6 of ep 2, 4 of ep 3, 2 of eps 4, 5, and 6, and one each of 7-9.

And for more fun, the only thing out of place in the debug log is that there was no information found for Top Gear.

How to use Absolute order correct

Hi,

I have a TV show named
Quote:name - S01E01 - title.mp4
Season one is found correctly. The problem is the other seasons:
Quote:name - S02E20 - title.mp4
(first episode of season 2, 20th episode of the series). I have tried the absolute order for this folder, but the problem still exists.

Is there a easy fix or do I have to rename them all?

Videos are stored on Ubuntu 16.04 Server, so I could use "rename", but I don't know a good expression and all episodes are split in 3 parts.

Modifying TheMovieDB Scraper

Well hello. I have been trying to modify the metadata.themoviedb.org/tmdb.xml (TheMovieDB Scraper) to follow my file structure. My File structure is as follows

X:/Store/Movies/[Year]/[Movie]/[MovieFile].[MovieExtension]

So while i was looking the tmdb.xml i noticed a parameter passing &year=$$4. At this point after hours of search, i'm not sure how $$4 contains something like year, and how it's been passed there, and how to modify it.

All i want is to get the year from MovieFolder's parent Folder Name.

Is there any easy way to do this?

Kodi not scraping metadata correctly

Hello,
I'm using Kodi on the Amazon Fire TV, and am having problems with getting Kodi to correctly scrape metadata for a movie source that I added via a shared network drive via UPnP.

Basically, Kodi is only scraping in-film images (which look low-res and out of scale), and not providing cover art or any other text metadata.

I've also installed Kodi on my Win 10 PC, and also on an Nvidia Shield, and always get the same results.

I am currently using the default Confluence skin, but have tried others with no difference. I also added Universal Movie Scraper add-on, again making no difference.

When I add my Movie source, I do not get the option for "Set Content" for different content types (ie Movies, TV etc), and I have never been asked whether my movies are stored in folders or not, so I don't know if this is the issue.

I would love to get this resolved!

Thanks,
pramster

Scraping Duplicate movies based on extra files in folder

I'm re-scraping my entire movie library after a clean Kodi reinstall (long, stupid, story).

This time around I'm having a problem with duplicate entries for movies that have a second small files within the folder...a sample file or trailer file...that type of thing. I can always power it out...search them out and delete them, try again. But, I never had this problem before. Is there a setting withing the movieDB scraper or elsewhere that I'm getting wrong?

Need help extracting links from public site

Hello there -

I've built a number of M3u lists, and I'm playing with .xml a bit. However, just because of the ease of doing it, I quite often use a browser plugin called "PlexIt" to add to my "watch Later" list in Plex.

Through doing that, I discovered a website that has a ton of public videos I just want to build a Kodi Playlist for, and have it show up with the correct names and links.

Can anyone offer me any advice on how to extract or build a list from here http://blankonblank.org/interviews/ ?

Thanks very much. Happy to do the work, just need a little guidance or suggestions.

The Movie database scraper folder location

Is there a way to specify a folder that the Movie database scraper (and TV) puts all its High res fan art in?
I want to specify one folder and then point a skin background changer at it so that Kodi background cycles through fan art by itself.

Anyone manage to scrape D.Grayman Hallow? (tvdb or anidb scraper)

Hi all, not sure if right place but I'm unable to scrape this series: D.Gray-Man Hallow 2016
I checked the name on tvdb and anidb websites and it's correct, I tried removing the point, I tried with or without 2016, but no go, sometimes tvdb will insert episode 1 in the original D.Gray-Man series, but that's it.

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, any ideas?

Anyone else experiencing this?
I noticed that if the url is opened in browser it shows 404 not found imdb error
but if you open the url without "|accept-language=en-us" it opens search results
could this be that imdb changed something and the plugin needs to be upgraded?

It looks like that the scraper is not able to identify the episode but the tag SxxExx is placed within the file.
Also the complete labeling like /SeriesName/SeriesName+SxxExx+Subtitle.ts should be correct. Plex or other media servers can find the episodes with that naming without any problems.
Can you give me a hint whats going wrong here?

My system is kodi 16.1 on android.
The libary is located on a mysql database.

Writting Scraped Metadata to Video File

Hi there. Thanks for such a great program. I've googling without sucess for an add-on that will let me write scraped movie info into the metadata in mp4, mkv files. Right now movie info is saved in Kodi. Can anybody tell me if there is an add-on which will allow me to do that?

Thanks so very much.

themoviedb

Hallo,

I am totally new here, so my apologies if this is a silly question.Themoviedb was installed on my Android TV and works fine. However, I noticed that the programm translated the non English film titles into English, which I do not want. I then discovered the option "keep original title" which I activated accordingly. I suppose that the addon needs to go through my list of films again, but how is this done? I even wanted to uninstall the add on and then reinstall, but this is not possible: the uninstall option is not available.

Another newbee question: which is the better choice: Themoviedb or the Universal Movie Scraper? Can I have both?

Many thanks.

TVDB Not scraping multi part episodes in DVD order

Kodi Version : 16.1

I have a TV series that has two episodes per file. thetvdb.com DVD ordering page shows these correctly as 1.1,1.2,2.1,2.2,etc (http://thetvdb.com/index.php?tab=season&...&order=dvd)

I have named my files like the following

s01e01.1.s01e01.2.mp4

Which is what the naming videos/files Kodi manual says is the correct way

But when I scrape the series, I only get the first episode of each multi episode, not the second

My debug log can be found here http://pastebin.com/diAGpb5t

I believe the important lines are here though

Anyway to Change Music Video Naming Conventions?

$

I prefer my music videos (and MP3s) named 'song title - artist.ext' - it's easier for me to find music that way. I assume that Kodi uses the ID3/4 tag data for MP3s, since they scan just fine the way I have them named. Is there any way that I can force Kodi to accept music videos named the reverse of what it expects - artist-title - instead? I really do not want to rename close to 1000 files just because of a picky program. Thanks.

Scrape collection poster?

Hi,

I don't post often because I usually find what I need but there is something that's puzzling me.

Is there any way to scrape collection posters and backdrops within Kodi?

Everything is perfect with the program beside having to manually download a .jpg somewhere to use it as a collection header instead of having the first movie inside the collection itself.

If it's somewhere, I've looked and looked again so my bad for missing it.

Thanks

Hello everyone,

I contact you as i'm really a beginner on XBMC and Kodi stuff.

Please be indulgent as i'm really not good at technical stuff to implement..

I'd like to have a scraper so I can have french information about the movies I have on my laptop. The thing is that with Kodi at each time I "scrape" my movies it doesn' find anything as my movie titles are in french.

Please could you tell me (simply if possible Smile ) how to do so Kodi will recgnize my french titles movies and get right informaiton in french from them?

I tried several things but it seems I can't make it...

hat to use? How to do? Is it simple?

Many thanks to those who will be able to help me Smile

TheTVDB scraper is confused

Greetings

I have just moved to Kodi from WMC/Emby and migrated over my libraries.

I am having a really strange problem with the TVDB scraper. My library has 119 series meticulously organized by the Emby server. When I set Kodi to scan this library, it claims to have found "Scream: The TV Series (en)" which does not even exist in the library and proceeds to add it to the database. This goes on for a long time and it never finds any of the series which actually do exist.

This happens on Kodi Jarvis and Krypton on Windows and on OpenELEC Jarvis. Storage is on a Windows 2012r2 server.

I suspected there might be junk files on the server so I removed every single NFO, XML, JPG, PNG and other non-video file, moved the entire library to a different share, and added it to Kodi again. Same thing. All it finds is "Scream: The TV Series (en)".

Both Emby and Plex find everything correctly.

This has me pulling my hair in bewilderment. Can someone help?

TIA
