i have some question about fanart when i do local search only all fanart and poster showing correct only no disc art showing from local i have named disc .png and this don,t come up from local so if i use scrapper all showing correct only i want to use local disk image not new one from the net any know how to show this correct?

TMDB scraper adds Videodrome instead of Lord of the Rings Extended Edition DVD
Hi,
I have the following problem. I ripped my DVD to disk (not as ISO but as VIDEO_TS folder). When I use the TMDB scraper my DVDs are properly recognized and displayed in the library including fan-art etc...
Only my Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit DVDs are not recognized. I posses the Extended Editions which means two DVDs per movie. I named the folders according to the Kodi Wiki:
Lord of the Rings - The two Towers DVD1/VIDEO_TS/...
Lord of the Rings - The two Towers DVD2/VIDEO_TS/...
Now, when I perform a library update, all my Lord of the Rings DVDs show up as
Videodrome
I checked the spelling of the folder name with The Movie DB, I even cut&paste the movie title to the folder name, so there can't be a type in the folder name, but still is the movie not recognized properly.
Any idea? any help welcome!

How to benefit the most from Musicbrainz tagging?

I have read somewhere that Kodi can (will) benefit substantially if music files are properly tagged with Musicbrainz data.
However, I haven't been able to figure out exactly which tag field(s) Kodi actually use.
There are several ways to tag files from MB, and they all differ in what they actually write to the ID3 tag. Some write a ton of info (MBIDs) while others just extract the basic albumname, albumartist, artist, track# and title for each track. Some add fingerprint data as well. Problem with TVDB scraper
Hi,
I have annoying problem with the TVDB scraper.
For unknown reason I have a problem with the TV show "The 100".
Each time when a new episode comes out, it doesn't downloading the thumb/landscape image from the TVDB site, and I check the site, the image is there.
Previously, when it happened I just did the "Refresh" process from the episode information and it fetched the image.
But currently even though I do all the refresh processes, nothing helps.
What could be the problem? How can I solve this?

TV Show scraping issue across multiple drives
Hi all! New to the forums and I am hoping that there is someone who can help me...
I am running Kodi on both my Raspberry Pi and also via my Amazon Firestick. I have three separate hard drives, plugged in to the Pi which is running as a media server. My problem is, I am having issues scraping the TV shows on the three HDD's. I have episodes of one show, spread across multiple HDD's and it is not pulling the poster/fan art/banner through.
Is there a way around this at all? Is the answer so incredibly simple that I'm going to feel like I've wasted your good time?
If this has already been asked, by all means, please point me in the right direction![Big Grin]( "Big Grin")

MyMovies.dk broken and can't uninstall
Running Kodi 16.1 RC2 On Windows 10 Pro
The MyMovies.dk scraper add on does not seem to work properly and it does not offer "Uninstall" (Greyed Out) or any other option to turn it off or uninstall it.
Things I have tried so far:
Renamed all instances including "MyMovies" folders or files within any Kodi folder to *.old
Renamed the addons20.db to addons20.db.old and restarted Kodi
Still the Mymovies.dk addon shows up and installed and enabled with the uninstall option greyed out.
Any help much appreciated.

New scraper, enough of themoviedb.
You should put another scraper because the themoviedb already does not help very few places like Brazil because he preference of Portugal that the Portuguese Brazil, below this one of the best that I ja vi and I feel much better than the own themoviedb.

Proper naming for Batman The Animated Series DVD Order

Not sure if this is the right support section but here I go.
I am trying to get the naming correct for Batman the animated series using thetvdb scraper kodi 16.1.

I want to use DVD order. Normally I just used aired order but I dont want to have to sort through all 4 volumes of episodes.
What is the proper way to rename using dvd order with the dvd season and show season all in one name so that theTVdb scraps correctly?

.NFO generator
I've seen a lot of stuff like this, but I can't seem to find what I would like to use. I have a number of DVDs with multiple movies and I don't want to laboriously hand-craft the .NFO files for them. What I'd like to find is something that will accept a title or IMDB and generate an NFO file for it. Then I can simply extract the <movie> section of the files and combine them into a single file. I found one called Basic NFO creator, but it just generates a bunchy of errors (like invalid COMCTL.OCX) and doesn't play well with Windows 10. I'm not looking for a lot of sophistication, just a simple program that will look up a movie and then generate the appropriate XML file. Any suggestions?

I would like to use my library to index all the files that are available on my harddrive, I don't need to access them directly through Kodi.
My library consists of VIDEO_TS folders of complete DVDs (movies & series), but also folders which contain .mkv or .avi files.
It is very problematic for me to make them show up correctly in the Kodi library.
As I use a Zidoo media player, files are accessible through the 'file manager' of that media player.
Is it possible to scrape on the basis of empty folders (i.e. F:/series/Movie1) while the actual files are somewhere else located? (i.e. F:/actual series)
Using this method, I don't have to create a folder structure by indicating which disc contains which episode, etc.

Newbie trying to scrape my movies
I have added my movie's folder to my Video tab. I am using UPNP from my NAS device. I can play the movies in Kodi but I am not getting any Artwork and everything else to come across. I added the Universal Movie scraper in but no luck. After I add the source of my videos it never shows the screen where it asks me to Set Content. I am running Kodi 16.0 on my Mac. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

How to add DVD of a TV Series as a movie?
I have both the 2003 DVD of "Speed Racer: Collectors Edition" which is a movie compilation of various episodes of the animated 1967 TV show. I also have the 2008 actor portrayed movie of "Speed Racer". I want the DVD of the TV Series to show up in my Movies section of Kodi, so I have the DVD rip in my movies directory on my NAS. But when it gets scraped, it always pick the 2008 movie entry for the TV show movie compilation. Maybe that's my problem. I want it to show up as a movie, but since it's based on a TV series, the scraper can't figure out what to use? Am I stuck having to move this to my TV show file structure? Or is there a way to have Kodi make TV show DVD's listed as a movie?

TV episodes not displayed
I have a strange issue. Three different TV shows.
1. "The Carbonaro Effect". Season 3 is properly in the folder but will not show up in my TV shows. Season 1 and 2 display just fine.
FanArt and everything is just fine but any episode in the Season 3 folder simply will not show up.
2. "Xploration Outer Space". There are over 30 episodes in the folder (properly named) but only 2 show up. In Windows I can play them through Media Player.
3. Hmmm.... Brain fart... Can 't remember the third.... But it's about the same...
All were recorded from HdHomerun DVR software then run through WMC Buddy. I have over 1600 episodes in my library so I would think if the naming convention was wrong that I would notice it. I dunno....
Anybody have an idea?

No Metadata for one movie
Hi,
Among around 300+ movies which I have, KODI is unable to retrieve the metadata for the movie The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2. The file naming is as follows:
The.Hunger.Games-Mockingjay.P2.2015.Bluray.1080p.TrueHD-7.1.Atmos.x264.mkv
The mkv is in a folder with the same name.
I tried to change the (-) to (.) and (P2) to (Part 2) but still.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

I contacted the staff temoviedb and they added a new language, PT-BR. They have already added , but does not appear in kodi . I contacted them and they said that the API was already ok , but it would take the add-on kodi be updated. Can someone help me?
