Episodes twice in library after scraping

Hey,

I am using a CoreElec (s905x) box for watching shows and movies when going on holidays. Some of the media from my NAS I copied on an external harddrive.

For every mediafile there is artwork and a nfo-file which was saved to the folders by emby media server.

What I am wondering about, is the following:
I scraped the shows on the CE box from the external harddrive using The Movie Database as source for information.
But now nearly half of the episodes are twice in my library. At first the correct episodes number is used and then the resolution info written in the filename is used (720p, 1080p).

Example:
Season 1 --> 01 Title Episode 1
               --> 720. Title Episode 1

Is there a way to bypass that issue?
Do I have to only use local information a source for information while scraping?
Do I have to rename every single mediafile in order that it does not contain "720" or "1080" anymore?
