There are two shows which are not being scrapped i don't know why and previously i scrapped them :X

1st is Mirzapur (2018) Netflix Show

Hi,

For a little bit when updating my library, the scan gets interrupted by an error messages "Unable to connect to remote server. Would you like to continue scanning?"

I'm using metadata.themoviedb.org v5.1.8

I noticed it happened consistently on the same titles so fetched some debug logs. It looks like for some titles, it will search for an empty string and the API returns a 422 error, triggering that error message. I don't know why some titles trigger this, and plenty of other file names work perfectly fine. I thought it might be because I have some movies with the format "MovieTitle, The" but some files without a comma fail as well.

Does anyone know if there is a way to set the Defaults for the Set Content Window when initially scaping a new source:

I would like to use the following defaults: (to save changing from the default None)
This directory contains: Movies
Choose information provider: Local Infomation only
Movies are in separate folders that match the mobie title - ON
Scan Recursively: ON

Is this possible or partially possible ?

I've noticed a few times now, that the trailers (played from the Movie Information 'trailer' button) for movies that I have in my library are not very good.

Eg They are often Teaser Trailers and sometimes worse. For example, if I try to play the trailer for Alita: Battle Angel, then I get a Behind the Scenes video (the first BTS video https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/399579-...uage=en-US)

I believe the link for the trailers is scraped when the movie is imported using TMDB and is stored in the video database. I can confirm that the Trailer video key/id for Alita in the database matches this Behind the Scenes video.

Is this the same for everyone, or is something screwey in my setup?

Hi. Newbie here.
I'm running Kodi 18.4 on Kdlinks a400 box and everything was working perfectly up until today when I added 3 new movie titles to the Kodi library. I don't have "automatic scan to library" checked so I do it manually. But, either way, those movies are scanned as "Movies". I.E., the Kodi TMDB is not scrapping them by correct titles. All 3 are seen as generic "Movies" and when I try ti "refresh" either using internet OR "locally stored info", still, scanned as "Movies" and no info / title / Actors / images available at all. Playback is unaffected. Tried to remove the titles, DELETED and reloaded the files and still same outcome. My 150 other movies that were scanned in the previous days are fine. In the settings "TMDB" scrapper looks active. Please help.

Hey everyone, new here
Just a quick Q
I have been updating and organising my movies and noticed that two movies in particular are always showing the same movie info and poster.
The movie is the karate kid (1984), it always shows the poster and info for the karate kid (2010).
No matter how much a change the scraper settings or use a differnt scraper is still shows the remake poster.

Any ideas why or any thoughts how to change it

Dunno if I'm posting in the right place, but herre goes...
After the TVDB issue that caused Kodi to crash, I uninstalled/reinstalled Kodi and set my TV show library, this time using the defualt scraper. Things went crazy: my large library was shown as just one show - 'TWICE TV' - which is NOT anywhere in my library. When thetvdb scraper was fixed, I tried rescraping my library with it, which mostly got things back to normal, but I was getting a weird thing happening in 'recently added' list: all the shows were shown as, for example:
TWICE TV - 2x10. The Red Angel
Star Trek: Discovery - 2x10. The Red Angel

A clean of my video library got rid of the 'TWICE TV' stuff, leaving just the right show, but I'm getting a bit tired with cleaning the library all the time! The TWICE TV stuff didn't seem to actually exist (no actual files); the correct file was there and correctly scraped - BUT the TWICE TV thing persists! I have tried a rescrape with the default scraper too - the issue persists... any ideas?

Hi all,
I'm using Kodi 18.4 Leia with Aeon Nox Silvo skin 7.0.7 on Xiaomi Mi Box S (Mi Box 4) (Android TV 8.1.0) and since few days it is not updating my Movies anymore.

When I launch "Update Library", it immediately skips to "Scanning new content: Updating TV Shows with TVDB". I can't see any "Scanning new content: Updating Movies with The Movie Database" on the notification bar.

My files are on a Western Digital MyCloud EX2 NAS which is perfectly connected and reachable. I can see the new movies using the Files view.
I verified my Video sources are correct.
I'm using The Movie DB as source of information for Movies and The TVDB for TV Shows.
The Movie Database Scaper Library add-on is updated at 3.1.10, the other two The Movie Database add-ons (both named "The Movie Database") are 5.1.8 and 3.1.3, while The TVDB is 3.0.16. Most of them got updated few days ago, which could be the root cause of the issue.

Hi all,

Is it possible to have actors info metadata from TheMovieDB in Non-English language?
All language settings is set to Russian in TMDB scraper, but still actors info is available in English. Though official TMDB site has actors biography in my language.
All other metadata like plot, slogan, etc. are in Russian as supposed to be.

I recently noticed that for movies released after June 2019, the RT audience VOTES number is not being scraped anymore, using any scraper/method. My skin supports this. The audience percentage is scraped correctly. I'm almost certain this is to blame:

I am playing with the Tv show on my miibox, with kodi and it works great on movies that is... But when i trying to add something to the Tv show section, it comes with all kinds off diffrent names the what it is am adding.

The thing im trying to add is DNA 2019 a dansish tv show.

What i have done now to see if that works is:

I have split it in diffrent folders Movies and TV so its separated
1. Top folder: TV
2. Next folder DNA 2019
3. Inside DNA 2019 is there 4 folder with the names DNA.S01E01-02-03-04.DANiSH

What am i missing, if this does help?

TV Scraper Not Following Symlinks

I record OTA programs with MythTV, which names files based on the channel and date it was recorded. I then use mythlinik.pl to link to the recordings with a name that Kodi should understand (Title S##E##.tx) - these are absolute links (that's how mythlink works). The directory is linked via NFS to Kodi (PC and xbox).

The TV scraper will not add these to the TV show/episode library (TVDB Or movieDB). But if I go into the directory that I've attached via NFS (from the Kodi box), the files are listed, and I can play them just fine. So this isn't an NFS issue where the symlinks don't resolve - they resolve just fine. And it isn't about the file format (if I copy a .ts file into the directory, it shows up in the library.).

So what gives? Why won't the scraper add a show that the Kodi box CAN see and play to the library? My scrapers are all up to date - the latest version listed is installed. Any idea how to fix this on the Kodi end?
